That's OUR business, NOT the school's. She knows these things and won't be the easy mark as they try to undermine our beliefs that many of the other kids will be. But still, on principle she won't be there. If you pay attention you'll see that the indoctrination goes much further in the public school system than this speech on Tuesday. You better believe kids are barraged daily with beliefs that directly contradict ours, yet the kids are required to study it, write about it, even sing about it while being intimidated by their teachers to go along with it. Yet when I raise the devil at the school they get wide-eyed and tell me I'm their first complaint. I actually believe that's true because I've seen myself how apathetic parents are these days, and that makes for awfully fertile ground for anyone to come along and plant their seeds, doesn't it? No to the indoctrination of our kids, no to Obama Nazi Youth. Why is what they say important?" I don't want my pre-k to 6th grade aged kids being told what to do by elected officials. That is my job as a parent. I will communicate what I think is appropriate for them based on my relationship to them as their parent. I do not want or desire the any government official to try to fill my role. The education system is there to educate, not indoctrinate. I know many will not be bothered by this little speech and will think that I am overreacting.
