You have to forgive Joe Wilson, he’s probably gotten used to shouting “You lie!” every time he has to deal with the governor from his home state. He was just doing what came naturally when he decided to be the one person in the room who admitted that the emperor wasn’t wearing any clothes.
At the very least, he is no longer under the radar.
Wilson is all over the place now. Naturally, to the MSM he is the embodiment of all the crazies who can’t see that the president just want so make everything perfect. The worst of it, naturally, came from the Obama ass kissing hack-fest formerly known as the Washington Post.
The national debate, already raw for years, had coarsened over the summer as town hall meetings across the country dissolved into protests about “death panels” and granny-killing. Guns were brought to Obama appearances. A pastor in Arizona said he was praying for Obama to die.
But even by that standard, there was something appalling about the display on the House floor for what was supposed to be a sacred ritual of American democracy: the nation watching while Cabinet members, lawmakers from both chambers and the diplomatic corps assembled.
That’s right, Joe Wilson is worse than the guy who prayed for the president to die.
Again, these people really should learn how to Google.
More than just one Democrat booed President Bush during the 2005 State of the Union Address.
I would assume that the press views the SOTU as a “sacred ritual” too, given the fact that there are even more VIPs assembled for one of those bad boys.
My guess is that it only became sacred when the MSM exhausted itself getting their messiah into the White House.
And they desperately want to see that he’s wearing beautiful new clothes.

With his outburst, @CongJoeWilson displayed lack of character and social grace. He Embarrassed himself in front of the entire nation. But we all make mistakes.
The ONLY embarrassment was the apology. But no matter. “YOU LIE!” will be the cry of a vast opposition.
Even though I think Rep. Wilson was right, I don’t think he should have shouted out. We need to get our message out, but we don’t have to stoop to the dems level to do it. Also, the reaction of the MSM and the Dems was predictable. When a conservative and a liberal do the same thing, the liberal’s actions are justified and deserved and the conservatives are extreme and uncalled for.
Yeah, vast opposition to health reform. What do you like about your health insurance company, now?
