Arrived in Baghdad yesterday (Wednesday) and have had some problems getting all the pics on the computer.

We’re staying in a compound that was built by Saddam as hunting grounds and lodges. The whole area is HUGE and surrounds some artificial lakes.

Hunting Grounds

The show last night was phenomenal. I’m not sure whether my lack of a voice is hurting or enhancing my act. We had about 300 people there and got to spend a lot of time with them after the show. We found out later that the venue had been hit a month ago and two people were killed.

I can’t reiterate enough how amazing everyone here is. In the middle of all of this extraordinarily dangerous s*** they’re going about their business with more calm than I exhibit going to the grocery store.

His uncle is my priest. Seriously.

I’ll try to post more when we get back tonight.

Oh, I’m bunking with Col. Shock so the chance of any international incidents is now almost nil.

Chopper’s waiting…
